This section explains how to prepare IIS on your machine and how to install and register the various components of the Smart Engineering Manager Web Application. There are separate installations for the Web API and Web (client) components.
If you decide to install the Smart Engineering Manager Web API and Smart Engineering Manager Web on separate machines, the requirements in this section apply to both machines.
These procedures are intended for Cloud and on-prem users with experience of software configuration.
For working with the database using API requests only, you need only install the Web API component. For working with the Smart Engineering Manager user interface, you must install both the Web API and Web components.
