Accessories > CloudWorx > Clip Point Cloud > Clipping Manager
Opens the Clipping Manager dialog box to create, edit, and delete clipping records in CloudWorx.
Clipping Manager Dialog Box
The dialog box has two panes. The left pane lists the clipping groups. A clipping group is a list of clipping records that are applied together to the point clouds. You can create, delete, or activate a group. At any time, there is one group activated. When activated, the clipping records display in the right pane. In the right pane, you can enable or disable a clipping record. You can invert a section view clipping or a fence clipping. When you click on the name of a clipping group or clipping record twice, the software allows you to rename it.
All clipping records are created with following commands:

Corner and Size - Specifies the component values. You can type the values or use the arrow keys under Move and Resize.
Move - Moves the limit box.
Resize - Changes the limit box size.

If a change in clipping exposes new area that was previously clipped, the software prompts you to regenerate the point clouds. This includes clearing one or more clipping, moving the slice forward or backward, inverting a clipping, or changing a limit box. You can also switch the clipping scheme using the Clipping Manager Options > Use Single LimitBox/Slice. For more information, see Toggle Single LimitBox/Slice.
