  1. Click File > Import.

    The Open dialog box displays.

  2. Use the Files of type list to specify the type of file to import.

  3. Use the Look in list to navigate to the symbol library, and then click Open.

    The software imports the symbol library and updates the display of symbols in the Library Explorer.

The Library Explorer displays the component group and component type labels for custom symbols in blue text. The example below shows the Library Explorer as it appears with no custom symbols (1) and with custom symbols (2).
