Click Draw Line
, or click Symbol > Draw Line.
The Edit window displays.

In the Edit window, click the start point and then move the mouse in the direction in which to draw the line.
After a line is started, the software displays a dotted line from the start point of the line to the current mouse position.

Click the end point of the line. This action defines the length and rotation angle of the line.

Drag the mouse away from the second point to draw another line segment, and then click the point at which to end the current line segment. In the example, two line segments have been drawn.

When you are finished creating the shape of the symbol, press Esc to exit the drawing command.
The Preview box updates to display the symbol, and, if one was initially specified, the attached spindle.
