Accesses the Variable Table, which operates much like a software spreadsheet. The Variable Table allows you to define and manipulate drawing variables and their values, as well as establish functional relationships between the design variables. For example, you can use the Variable Table to create expressions for dimensional values. You can restrict the display of variables in the table using Filter on the Variable Table window to display only the variables for dimensions that the software created, display variables that are associated with elements in the current document or the active window, or display a set of elements that you have selected in the document.

You can use Tools > Customize to place the Variables button on a toolbar.
