Operator rounds should be designed with the operator’s walking path in mind. There should be a clear starting point with a logical and time-efficient path to the ending point. The number of tasks configured, their grouping, and their order determine the efficiency of this path and what information is collected.
Task groups divide the operator round tasks into logical completion sections, while the tasks determine what information is collected and how it is collected. Operator round templates allow multiple task group levels to be configured as well as various task input and display options. Below is a diagram of how an operator round can be structured.
