  1. If you encounter problems using the API Runner window when trying to retrieve reports or launch the Document Viewer Interface, you can troubleshoot your settings and parameters. For details, see Troubleshoot IDEAL Using the API Runner.

  2. If you encounter problems when publishing reports to PDF, you may have to modify the Logon user in the Intergraph Smart Instrumentation Server.

    To do this you must;

    1. From the Windows Administrative Tools, open the Services window.

    2. In the Services window locate the Intergraph Smart Instrumentation Server.

    3. Right-click the Intergraph Smart Instrumentation Server, and on the shortcut menu, click Properties.

    4. On the Log On tab select This account.

    5. Enter the User Name of the User that has permissions to change printers.

    SHARED Tip You can click Browse to search for the User Name.

    1. Enter and confirm the correct password for access to the selected User

    2. Click OK.

    3. Right-click the Intergraph Smart Instrumentation Server, and on the shortcut menu, click Stop.

    4. Right-click the Intergraph Smart Instrumentation Server, and on the shortcut menu, click Start.

    5. Close the Services window.

     Resetting the Intergraph Smart Instrumentation Server can only be done using the Stop, Start commands, the Restart command does not function.
