  1. Select Edit > Options Command to display the Options Dialog.

  2. Choose the default temperature unit under Temperature units.

  3. Choose the default thickness unit under Thickness units.

  • The available temperature and thickness units are defined in Format Manager.

  • Default temperature and thickness units apply to the entire plant specification file.

  • The default temperature and thickness units selected in the Options Dialog apply to insulation properties viewed in the Insulation Specification Manager only; the units of those properties displayed in Smart P&ID drawings are determined by the values selected for Temperature and Thickness in the Options Manager Formats table.
