The File > Open command opens one or more existing files.
Locate the document or drawing you want to open using the standard Microsoft Windows Open dialog box. After you make a selection, the drawing or document appears in a new Detail File Viewer window. SmartPlant Markup Plus reads the file header information to determine the appropriate viewer used to display the file.
You can open multiple documents at one time by pressing the CTRL key and selecting each document or drawing. If you use the SHIFT key and select two files, all files between the two selected are highlighted.
The file you open with this command will appear in a new Detail File Viewer window.
