Error Message

Printer not Activated. Error code -41.

Possible Cause

This error could occur when PDF generation of a Hexagon file format fails.

Solution

Remove and reinstall the SmartPlant PDF Converter printer:

  1. At the command prompt, type spmpdfinstall –u and press ENTER to remove the currently installed SmartPlant PDF Converter NNN (where NNN denotes the version number).

  2. At the command prompt, type spmpdfinstall –i and press ENTER to install the SmartPlant PDF Converter NNN (where NNN denotes the version number).

  3. Click Start > Control Panel > Hardware > Devices and Printers to verify.
