The Markup > Create Symbol command allows you to create a new symbol and store it in a symbol file with an .RSM extension. In order to specify the image you want to save as a symbol, click this command and draw a box around the markup element from which you want to create a symbol.
This command is available only when one or more markup layers are displayed in the Detail File Viewer window.
