Once you have opened a file in SmartPlant Markup Plus, you have a number of tools available to customize what you are seeing. You can define options for all files of specific types; for all files displayed in the Detail File Viewer or Mini Overview window; and for what file information appears in the window or is printed to the page.
View Options
Using the Options dialog box, you can configure how all files appear in the windows that compose the SmartPlant Markup Plus application, as well as what kinds of files you can open with the software. This dialog box provides access to screens that allow you to configure how information is displayed in and printed from the Detail File Viewer, markup layers, and the Mini Overview window.
File Information
For the files you open, you can determine what specific information you want to use. For example, you can choose from any available saved views. Additionally, you can specify which reference files are used to create the image you view and print.
File Types
Finally, for each of the major types of files that you can view and mark, you can specify type-based options that are applied to all files of that type. This feature allows you to specify locations for reference files and color tables and other useful information. The default settings even allow you to set options for any other types of files not already covered with tabs.
