Click 3D > Rotate View.

Drag the origin point of the rotation graphic to define the new origin point.

Drag anywhere in the graphic view to rotate the view about the new center point.

The rotation graphic appears as a dashed green line. You can locate the center point and the three axis indicators with the pointer. If you pause the pointer over one of these indicators, it appears in the active color. If you select one of these indicators, it appears in the active, select color with an increased line weight.

The Rotate View command is available only when viewing 3D files.
