Once you have opened files in SmartPlant Markup Plus, it may be necessary to move to different locations within the file. In some cases, you may just choose to use the scroll bar on the right side of the Detail File Viewer to scroll through the pages of the document or drawing, but in other cases, you might want to find specific sections of the file.  For example, if you are viewing a document file that consists of multiple pages, you might want to search for the location of a certain text string within the file.

The Find command allows you to navigate within the file in just that way. Use this feature to search within a file for a certain text string. You can limit your search to only find occurrences where the selected text is not part of any other words, or you can limit it to only find occurrences with the exact same capitalization.

Using the Go To feature, you can navigate long files by moving through the pages one at a time or by going directly to a specific page. The Go To dialog box contains command buttons that take you to the page before or after your current location, to the first or last page of the file, or to any page you specify.

The Go to Markups command works similarly to the Go To command. Using this feature you can navigate to specific pages of the file that contain markups in an active layer.
