SDB for Smart Reference Data is delivered with a pre-configured interface to Intergraph Smart® 3D. Smart 3D loads its design specifications via a comprehensive Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The delivered SDB interface is configured to map from the Smart Reference Data relational database to produce an Excel spreadsheet that can be loaded into Smart 3D. The delivered SDB interface can be easily configured to load data directly into Smart 3D.

SDB for Smart Reference Data is delivered with a Smart 3D interface that supports Smart 3D 2019. Smart 3D interface configuration allows users to produce SDB PIP specifications, sample power specifications, sample Japanese standard specifications, and sample EN specifications. All the piping specifications in SDB are configured with DotNET symbol prog IDs.

The Smart 3D interface has been designed with settings to support the ability to export imperial specs with metric units and to export metric specs with imperial units. The part data is always exported in the native units in which it was added.

SDB is delivered with set of Smart 3D interface configurations to export Hangers and Supports Data Driven Support (DDS) parts, assemblies, and codelist data.

SDB for Smart Reference Data is delivered with a pre-configured interface to Smart Electrical and Smart Instrumentation. The delivered interface is provided with configuration to map from the Smart Reference Data relational database to produce an Excel spreadsheet that can be imported into Smart Electrical and Smart Instrumentation.

SDB for Smart Reference Data consists of an interface to support SmartPlant Isometrics. The interface is configured to export 5 PIP specifications that can be loaded into SmartPlant Isometrics.

SDB for Smart Reference Data also provides an interface to CADWorx. The interface is configured to export 21 PIP specifications that can be loaded into CADWorx. SDB is enhanced to support the necessary configurations required for exporting data with custom attributes.
