User Privileges

User privileges control the tasks that individual users can perform. You can set privileges in Smart Materials based on:

  • User - for individual users

  • Role - users having specific role assigned.

For example, if a role is created for buyers, and all buyers should have the privilege of PO Approval, then this privilege should be assigned to the role. But if only one of the buyers should have the PO Approval privilege, then this privilege must be assigned to the specific user only. Smart Materials comes with some predefined privileges.
