In Microsoft Excel, open the [Product Folder]\CatalogData\BulkLoad\DataFiles\SimpleDoor.xls workbook.

Select the SimpleDoorAsm sheet.

Between the Start and End keywords that appear in column A, add a row to the spreadsheet.
If a door exists in the sheet that is similar to the door that you want to define, consider copying the existing row.

Enter a name for the door. You will use this name to select the door during placement, so use a descriptive name. In addition, this name must be unique across the entire catalog.

Enter a description for the door.

Enter the door type. Valid values are listed in the AllCodeLists.xls workbook on the DoorType sheet in the Codelist Number column.

Enter the opening ratio of the door.

Enter kinematics data to define the overall motion of the door. Valid values are listed in the AllCodeLists.xls workbook on the DoorsWindowsKinematics sheet in the Codelist Number column.

Enter dimensional data for the door (height and width) and the door frame (depth and width).

Finish defining the attribute values for the door. For more information about each attribute, refer to Simple Door Assembly.

Click File > Save to save your changes.

Bulk load the spreadsheet into the catalog.

In column A of every row that you add, type the letter A to indicate to the Bulkload utility that you are adding this row of information.
