7.1(2014R1)

In order for I-Convert to work, the following pieces of data are essential and which must exist in the files extracted from PDS.

  1. The PDS to Isogen map file must contain an entry giving the Isogen SKEY for each model code used in the Piping Commodity Specification Data file.

  2. The Short descriptions file must contain an entry giving the description for every commodity code to be used in the catalog.

  3. If indirect commodity codes are used, there must be an entry in the Size dependent file giving the unique commodity code for each combination of commodity code in the Piping Commodity Specification Data file and the full range of primary and secondary nominal sizes that apply.

  4. There must be a Symbol Processor file in the Commodity folder for every model code used in the Piping Commodity Specification Data file. These files are identified by adding the prefix SP to the model code. For example, for model code E90, the Symbol Processor file is named SPE90.

  5. There must be a Physical Data Source file in the Commodity folder for every physical data source referenced in a Symbol Processor file used for the specification. These files are identified by adding the prefix PD to the physical data source given in the Symbol Processor file or in another Physical Data Source file and replacing // with _. For example, the reference F122_1’ // ‘DIN’ points to the file PDF122_1_DIN.

  6. There must be a Dimension file in the Physical folder for every file referenced from the Physical Data Sources used for the specification. These files are identified by adding the prefix TD to the combination of data items specified in the Physical Data Source. For example, the reference 'AAG' // Geo_Ind_Std // Gen_Flag_Green refers to the file TDAAG_28000_872 for a valve with geometry standard = 28000 and green connect point terminal suffix = 872 specified in the Piping Commodity Specification Data file.

If you intend to use any user-defined Isogen SKEYs, you must add each one to the SKEYUser.tbl file before using the software.
