Add grouping criteria

  1. Select a fileset in the tree view, and then click Change Files and Groupings . Alternatively, select a fileset, and then click Edit > Change Files and Groupings.

    The Edit dialog box displays.

  2. In the Grouping section of the dialog box, click Add.

    The Add Grouping dialog box displays.

  3. Select the grouping criterion in the Group by list, and then click OK.

    The software adds the selected criterion under Group By on the Edit dialog box.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as many times as needed to add multiple grouping criteria.

  5. When finished, click OK to return to the Main window.

The software applies the grouping criteria in order from top to bottom. Files are grouped initially by the first criterion. Next, each group is further sub-grouped by the second criterion, and then each is sub-grouped by the third criterion. The process continues until the software has applied all the criteria.

Delete grouping criteria

  1. Select a fileset in the tree view, and then click Change Files and Groupings . Alternatively, select a fileset, and then click Edit > Change Files and Groupings.

    The Edit dialog box displays.

  2. In the Grouping section, select the Group By criteria to delete, and then click Delete.

  3. Click Yes in the confirmation box.

    The software removes the criteria from the Group By list.
