Issue item by scan - Intergraph Smart Materials - Version 5.0 SP1 (5.0.1) - Help - Hexagon PPM

From the Home screen, tap the Issue tile on the home screen.

On the Issue screen, all available MIRs are displayed with the number of line items.

Select an MIR from the list.

A list of warehouses from where the line items can be issued are displayed.

• Tap the location pin to get the warehouse and location information. Turn on the device GPS to use this feature.

• The application displays the location pin only for the warehouses or locations that have the GPS coordinates in the database.

(Optional) Select issue date.

By default, the application displays the issue date of the selected MIR. You can edit the date based on your requirement.

To scan the barcodes for a MIR, tap on the MIR screen.

The Scan dialog opens.

In Issue screen, a barcode can be based on an Ident, Item Shipment, or a Tag Number.

Type or select the warehouse and the location in the corresponding boxes.

Tap Scan in the Barcode box to begin scanning barcodes. The trigger unit will conduct the scan and add the data to MobileScan. The scanned barcode is shown in the Barcode box. Alternatively, you can type the barcode, using a prefix as described in the following note.

The barcodes are generated with a prefix based on the first letters of company's name in the license file (default.json), followed by the item_ship_id. For example, with the entry below, the prefix would be WEI, and a sample barcode would be WEI69162778.

(Optional) Select a drawing from the Drawing list.

Drawing field is displayed only when the line items in the MIR are associated with multiple drawings.

(Optional) Select a heat number from the Heat Number list.

Application displays:

• Heat Number field, only if the project default ZC_ATT_HT value is set to N and the line items in the MIR are associated with multiple heat numbers.

• Attached Heat Number field if the project default ZC_ATT_HT value is set to Y. For more information about attached heat numbers and the project default ZC_ATT_HT, see Heat numbers and ZC_ATT_HT.

Type the issued quantity in the Quantity box.

Tap to save or to return to the previous screen.

Tap .

• If you sign in with a role that has a privilege MOBILE_POST_REPORT assigned, Done is replaced with Post. Tap Post to post the MIR in Smart Materials.

• To enable posting of MIR, select Use for APIs in User Security for Projects screen in Smart Materials.

  This indicates that the report has been completed and material issued and that the report is ready for final review by the site manager or materials controller.
