The following command options are available for displaying data:

You can send commands to IDEAL using a report key and parameters for the item such as a tag number or strip name to display the specified report directly in a Web browser window or a viewer application suitable for the specified report type. You can use commands that launch the Document Viewer Interface where you can select an item for which you want to display a report. For details, see Using the Document Viewer Interface.
If you encounter problems retrieving data using IDEAL command line parameters, you
can troubleshoot your settings and parameters by running the Apitools.exe executable
file on the client computer. This opens the API Runner window, from which you can enter the required parameters and display the report or
the Document Viewer Interface. For details, see Troubleshooting IDEAL.
