  1. From the Home page, select Administration > Global Setup > UOM Configuration.

  2. Select default project NPS unit from the Units list.

  3. Select default project WT unit from the Units list.

  4. Select default bolt length unit from the Units list.

  5. Select a bolt group from the Bolt Group list and then click Save.

You can define only one configuration per project.

  6. Click Fill UOM Tables to fill the conversion tables and to install UOM views.

If the views are not installed, the application prompts you to install the UOM views. When the views are installed, the application displays the NPS, wall thickness, and bolt units as defined in the configuration.

  7. Click Reconcile UOM Tables to convert all nominal sizes that are not defined for the selected NPS.

  8. Click Add Row in the Deviant Unit Conversions section to define exceptions from the standard conversions for specific idents.

  9. Type a sequence number.

  10. Select a where condition from the Where Condition list.

    • The where condition must be defined at the product group level.

    • The where condition must not include any size restrictions as this can be used in other projects with different UOM settings.

    • The where condition as defined under UOM Configuration (ADM_UOM) on the Query Builder page is only available under the where conditions list in Deviant Unit Conversions.

  11. Select a default NPS unit from the Units list.

  12. Select a default WT unit from the Units list.
