For early warning alerts, you must write the query and specify the interval or frequency for it to be run. The query is assigned to users and/or roles and are executed in the Definitions page or by defining a job in the DBMS Jobs page by executing the m_pck_ewn.process_warnings procedure.

You must define an interval to determine how often the query is executed. Some of the values this takes are 15 minutes, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or annually.

Define the Mail Content to control the information that is included in the alert message. This takes the following values:

ALL - All new, modified, and deleted items are listed.

CHANGES - Only modified items are listed.

NEW - Only new items are listed.

DELETED - Only deleted items are listed.

CURRENT - Only new and changed items are listed.
