The Short Code Management command allows you to add, update, and delete short codes.

Click SRD > XS20 Spec > XS2040 Short Code Management.

Select All Short Codes/Short Code Types/ Short Codes from the list at the top of the tree view.

Double-click the All Short Codes node to open the Short Codes grid or click Open Grid View

To manage the short codes in the Short Codes grid, click Edit Grid
.

To add a new short code to the Short Codes grid, click Add Row
.

Type a name, short description, and description of the short code in the Short Code, Short Description, and Description columns.

Type a short code type in the Type column, or select a type from the Selection list
, and then click OK. -
To delete a short code, right-click the selected short code row header, and then click Delete or press the DELETE key.

Click Save Grid
, and then click Read-Only Grid 
to set the grid back to read-only mode.

You can also add, update, and delete short codes of a particular type by double-clicking a short code type in the tree view and editing the Short Codes grid.

In the Short Codes grid for a particular short code type, the Type column is not editable.

You cannot edit an existing short code in the Short Codes grid.
