Sometimes, new projects have the same or very similar roles, role groups, and permissions as an existing project. If so, you can quickly set up the new project by importing the roles, role groups, and permissions from the existing project then adjusting them as needed.
-
On the left bar, click Administrator Settings > Permissions.
-
Select the project you are working on.
-
Click Import, and select the roles, role groups, and permissions to import from the existing project.
-
If you need to, you can make changes after the import:

For new projects - When a project is first created, only a few administrators like you have access to it. Now that you have the roles set up, it's time to give a person access to Smart Build Insight.
-
For existing projects - If this changes the roles in a project, then people already assigned to the project might not have the right access anymore. You can add users to a project and assign their roles.
