Installation of EcoSys application files and configuration.

Copying Application Files

1. From the extracted EcoSys release package, copy the "EcoSys" folder onto the application server. This is referred to as "C:\EcoSys" for the rest of this document.

Add License File

1. Place the EcoSys application license key (FMLicense.properties) in C:\EcoSys\ESFM_HOME folder.

Configuring EcoSys Logging

1. Locate the log4j.properties file in the C:\EcoSys\ESFM_HOME folder and edit the log4j appender directories below to match the environment and save the file.

   log4j.appender.FILE.File=c:/EcoSys/log/ESFM-Application.log

   log4j.appender.FILE_PLUGIN_TEST.File=c:/EcoSys/log/ESFM-PluginTest.log

   log4j.appender.FILE_PLUGIN_SAP.File=c:/EcoSys/log/ESFM-PluginSAP.log

Configuring the Java Max Heap Memory Size

1. Consult with the EcoSys Server Sizing Recommendations provided after the EcoSys Environmental Configuration Questionnaire for accurate Java heap sizing.
