The following fields are necessary for each operations logbook entry to be recorded clearly and effectively. These fields should be present in all operations logbook form designs.

Category - displays the event’s category.

Area - displays the event’s area information.

Description - displays the event’s description.

Event Time - displays the date and time the event occurred.

Status - displays the event’s state of completion.

Add to Handover Report - When this check box is selected, the operations logbook entry is imported into the relevant shift handover entries.
The other fields can be removed without causing any complications.
