The work instruction template linked to a work plan determines what tasks need to be completed for the work instruction. Work instruction templates are designed in the j5 IndustraForm Designer.
j5 provides a work instruction starter template that can help you design your own work instruction template. The Work Instruction Starter Template is available in the j5-industraform-templates zip file (refer to the Sample IndustraForm templates section to download this zip file). This template can be imported or copied into your new work instruction template.
The starter template has two main sections - the general instruction at the top and the tasks’ details at the bottom. We recommend that you keep the fields in the general information section. These fields display the information necessary for the work instruction to be presented and completed effectively. The tasks section can be adjusted as required.
