The j5 Server needs to be configured to connect to an SDx server. This configuration is specific for the particular SDx server to which you are connecting. This is done using the j5 System Management Console on the j5 server.

  1. Open the j5 System Management Console.

  2. Click on the SDx / SPO WebClient Server folder.

  3. Change Disable Server to False.

  4. Enter the SDx instance OData API Endpoint URL (for example, https://sdxserver.example.com/sdxserver/api/v2/SDA).

  5. Enter the SDx instance Web Client URL. This is the URL that end users use to access the SDx Web Client in their browser (for example, https://sdxserver.example.com/sdx).

  6. Click Save & Verify in the Actions pane.

  7. Click the j5 folder.

    sdx-config-deploy

  8. Click Deploy Changes in the Action pane. The j5 Setup Wizard runs and applies the server changes. This automatically restarts j5.
