The j5 Server needs to be configured to connect to an SDx server. To connect to an SDX server, the details of the server need to be entered in the j5 System Management Console.

Open the j5 System Management Console.

Select the SDx / SPO WebClient Server node.

Change Disable Server to False.

Enter the SDx instance OData API Endpoint URL (for example, https://sdxserver.example.com/sdxserver/api/v2/SDA).

Enter the SDx instance Web Client URL. This is the URL that end users use to access the SDx Web Client in their browser (for example, https://sdxserver.example.com/sdx).

Select Save & Verify in the Actions pane.

Select the j5 node.

Select Deploy Changes in the Action pane. The j5 Setup Wizard runs and applies the server changes. This automatically restarts j5.
