The SAP Functional Location page displays the imported functional locations and their assigned operational areas. The list view displays the name, description, parent, maintenance plant, depth, and the disabled state of each location.
The detail view for each location displays the same information along with some additional information as as its category and structure indicator.
The functional locations inherit their operational area mapping from the Maintenance Plant mapping. If any changes are made to this mapping, the functional location will display the change and it won't receive updates when the Maintenance Plant mapping is updated.
Select Reset areas to default to reset a functional location to the operational areas inherited from the Maintenance Plant.

Select the Area Map tab to view and edit the assigned operational areas.
