Determines the cell ID for each task. These are not visible in the user interface and are only used for internal cell identification. If an identifier isn’t defined in the tasks spreadsheet, the j5 software gives the task’s cell a unique ID when it is imported into j5.

Identifiers defined in a tasks spreadsheet are helpful when you want to use the task’s input value in a calculation. When defining identifiers, we recommend that each identifier is an abbreviation of the associated task or is the associated equipment’s identifying code. Cell IDs cannot have spaces or punctuation marks.

Identifiers that start with a number or are written in the cell reference format (capital letters followed by a number - for example, B3 or TEST1), have a V_ automatically inserted in front (see image below) when a tasks spreadsheet is imported into the j5 IndustraForm Designer. This is to avoid errors when these cell IDs are used as variables in formulas.
