You can build up your own filter queries using the Advanced filters. This is useful when a specific filter doesn't exist and allows you to use more complex search queries.
To apply a complex filter query:
-
Select Filters to display the filter toolbar (this is selected by default).
-
Select the Advanced filter button.
-
Choose the fields you want to filter the entries by from the Filter by list. You can only select one field at a time. Select the fields one-by-one until all the filter fields have been selected.
-
Choose the field values you want to filter by.
-
Choose the fields you want to sort the entries by from the Sort by list.
-
Select whether you want the entries sorted in ascending or descending order.
-
Select Apply.
-
If there are too many active filter parameters, the parameters are applied (the entries are filtered), but they are cleared when the page is refreshed.
-
Some advanced filter options won't filter the entries accurately due to some of the display information changing from legacy logbook entries to IndustraForm entries. If you need a particular filter in the advanced filter list that isn't working as expected, please contact your j5 service provider to adjust the filter settings.
