Defines the minimum and maximum limits for the tank diameter. A total of four (4) diameters between these limits is determined (and the corresponding heights) to size the tank. For each height/diameter value, the shell plate thicknesses are determined, followed by plate weight and cost.
The diameter range is independent of the height range. Four values of diameter between
the minimum and maximum values are determined. The necessary height to achieve the
required volume is then determined, exclusive of the height range.
