Defines the unit cost of the plate material. The software uses this value to compute the total material cost of the various tank shells. The software multiplies the Cost/Unit Weight of Plate value by the total steel volume in the shell multiplied by the standard weight of steel.
The mass conversion factor is applied to this value to compute the final tank cost.
For consistent application, you must ensure that the mass conversion and the density
conversion use the same unit such as lb. and lb/cu.in. or KG and KG/cu.cm.
