The software can either evaluate a user-specified design or design an anchorage according to API-650 Section 5.12. In order to size the anchor bolts, the thread pitch is necessary. The pitch is the reciprocal of the parameter known as threads per inch.
Type the threads per inch in the appropriate units. This is a required entry used in the event that the software must design an anchorage. Typical threads per inch for various size UNC bolts are listed in the following table:
