Upgrading SDB 2018/2018 R1 database to SDB 2020

Standard Database for Intergraph Smart Reference Data 2020 upgrade is certified and supported for the following path:

  • SDB 2018 R1 with SRD 8.4.0 to SDB 2020 with SRD 8.4.0.

  • SDB 2018 with SRD 8.4.0 to SDB 2020 with SRD 8.4.0.

The upgrade process of database from SDB 2018 R1 version to SDB 2020 is described in step wise details in this document.

  • For Migration of versions less than SDB 2018 to SDB 2020, it is mandatory to upgrade at least to SDB 2018 first and continue with the steps to complete upgrade to SDB 2020.

  • For the database, which is already migrated to SDB 2020, running of a pre-migration script again is not required as all script changes are already included in the target database when the upgrade script was run.
