  1. On the Draw toolbar, click Arc by 3 Points Arc by 3 Points.

  2. Click the location to begin the sweep of the arc.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Click the location that you want as midpoint of the arc, and then click the location that you want to end the sweep of the arc.

    • Click the location that you want to end the sweep of the arc, and then click the location that you want as midpoint of the arc.

      SHARED Tip Use the intent zones at the first and second points to specify if the third point is between the first two or beyond one of the first two.

  • Instead of clicking to define the sweep and the midpoint, you can type values on the ribbon. You can also use a combination of graphic and ribbon input.

  • Instead of clicking several different points to draw an arc, you can draw a diagonal line and the software automatically changes it to an arc.

  • If Maintain Relationships is set, the software places relationship handles.

  • You can use the options on the ribbon and the commands on the shortcut menu to edit an arc.
