Removes all unwanted areas of speckle in a binary image. Speckles are small, unwanted areas of foreground data. To remove a speckle, the software looks for a rectangular boundary around a potential speckle. The boundary is limited by the maximum speckle size you specify. You can specify speckle size 3 different ways.
-
Edit the size field on the Speckle Remove dialog box.
-
Draw a box to determine the maximum speckle size to be removed.
-
Select a representative speckle in the image.
To use this functionality, you must install the Image Integrator option.
