Controls the way a document prints.

Name

Specifies the printer that you want to use. You can select from a list of all the configured printers available for printing.

Properties

Opens the Printer Document Properties Dialog.

Status

Displays the current status of the selected printer. This area is read-only.

Type

Displays the type of printer currently selected. This area is read-only.

Where

Displays the printer path or location for the currently selected printer. This area is read-only.

Comment

Displays any comments you input during printer configuration. This area is read-only.

Print to file

Prints the document to a file, instead of a printer. You specify the file's name on the Print to file dialog after you set the check box and select OK on the Print dialog. This saves a document to a file instead of routing it directly to a printer or plotter. Then, you can print from a computer that does not have the application installed or print to a printer other than the one you currently have installed.

In SmartSketch when you position the pointer in this dialog and right-click, you can access a variety of standard commands that help you manage your documents more efficiently. For example, if you select a document in the list and then right-click, you can then select the Select command on the shortcut menu to automatically open the document. You can also create shortcuts; send the document somewhere else, and other activities.

Print Range

Displays options for selecting the print range.

All Sheets

Prints all drawing sheets in the active document.

Print Current

Prints the active sheet.

Sheets

Prints all the sheets that you select in the list as a composite document with layers on one sheet of paper.

Print Area

Opens the Print Area dialog. When you select this option and then select OK on the dialog, a set of cross-hairs displays. Drag the cross-hairs to define the area to print, and then use the options in the Print Area dialog to specify options for printing the selected area.

Copies

Sets options for the number of copies print.

Number Of Copies

Specifies the number of copies to print.

Collate

Organizes sheets when you print multiple copies.

Pure Black and White

Prints a black and white document.

Settings

Accesses the Settings dialog.
