In the Tree view, select the folder where you want to place your new specification.

Select Edit > Add Specification Command. The Add Specification
command is also available from the toolbar.

On the Insulation Specification Properties Dialog, select the General Tab, enter a name and description, and choose a purpose for the new specification.

On the Piping Tab and the Equipment Tab, define thickness and temperature ranges. See Set Piping and Equipment Ranges.

On the Piping Tab and the Equipment Tab, define catalog items that are excluded from use with this insulation specification. See Set Exclusions for an Insulation Specification.
Insulation purposes are read from the insulation purpose select list, which you can
modify by using Data Dictionary Manager.
