Allows you to lock saved markup layers to prevent further changes.

Color - Displays the name and a sample of the color used for the elements in each markup layer.

Description - Provides the brief description entered for each layer when it was first saved.

User - Displays the user name of the person who created each layer.

Date - Indicates the date on which each layer was created.

Lock - Indicates whether each layer has already been locked to prevent changes. Layers with a Yes value in this column cannot be modified or deleted.

Type - Describes the type of markup layer to display. Selections include Constructability, Document Review, HAZOP, Model Review, and Process. You can configure these selections using the SmartPlant Foundation schema. This is an optional field and only available when using SmartPlant Foundation 2009 R3 SP2 or later. Refer to the Schema Editor Guide for more information. This option is not available in stand-alone SmartPlant Markup Plus.

Select All - Quickly selects all the markup layers available for the file and included in the list. Selected layers are locked when you click the OK button.

Clear All - Removes highlighting from any items in the list of available layers. Selected layers are locked when you click the OK button.

Layer Color - Allows you to select a different color for markup elements in the selected layer.

  • This command is available when using SmartPlant Foundation or Directa. These two products provide the security information to determine if you have the applicable permissions to lock or unlock a layer. It is not available when using SmartPlant Markup Plus stand-alone.

  • All layers for a file can be locked or unlocked at once from within Directa Manager by clicking Object > Lock Redlines or Object > Unlock Redlines.
