Allows you to save an added or modified markup layer or discard any markup elements you have added.

File name - Displays the name of the file for which you are saving the markup layer.

Color - Indicates the current color used in the active markup layer. You can change this color by clicking the button and choosing another color.

Owning Group - Allows you to define the owning group to which the changes belong.

The owning group may be required depending on how your administrator has configured the system.

Discipline - Allows you to associate the layer you are saving with a specific string associated with Directa. This string can then be used as a condition within rules written to provide or deny access to users. This field is available only when SmartPlant Markup Plus is used in conjunction with Directa Manager and the administrator has created strings for use in the field.

Description - Provides a brief description of the markup layer to make it easier for you to find it in the future.

Type - Describes the type of markup layer to display. Selections include Constructability, Document Review, HAZOP, Model Review, and Process. You can configure these selections using the SmartPlant Foundation schema. This is an optional field and only available when using SmartPlant Foundation 2009 R3 SP2 or later. Refer to the Schema Editor Guide for more information. This option is not available in stand-alone SmartPlant Markup Plus.

Unload after saving - Indicates whether the current layer will be unloaded when it is saved. Unloaded layers are not displayed in the Detail File Viewer window.

Discard - Discards any changes to a markup layer already saved, or deletes a new markup layer and its elements.
