Allows you to choose which of the printers defined on your computer will be used to print the active file and also allows you to set options for paper size and page orientation.

Name - Lists the printers defined on your computer.

Properties - Opens a standard Windows Printer Properties dialog box for the selected printer. The options that you can set on this dialog box depend on the features of your printer.

Status - Displays the availability of the selected printer.

Type - Provides a description of the type of printer selected.

Where - Displays the network location of the selected printer.

Comment - Provides any additional information provided for the selected printer.

Size - Select the kind of paper on which the file will be printed. You can choose from options such as legal, letter, envelope, or other settings defined for your selected printer.

Source - Specifies where the paper you want to use is located in the printer. Different printer models support different paper sources, such as the upper tray, envelope feed, and manual feed.

Orientation - Select the direction in which the file should be printed on the paper, vertically (Portrait) or horizontally (Landscape).

If you are printing a Microsoft Word document or Adobe PDF, the file prints as it displays in the software (regardless of Portrait or Landscape settings for Orientation in the Print Setup dialog box). For example, if you are viewing a PDF file in landscape, and the Portrait setting is selected in the Print Setup dialog box, the PDF will print as landscape (as displayed in the software).

Network - Opens the Connect to Printer dialog box, which allows you to find network printers not already defined on your computer.

You can choose to use printers located on remote nodes for printing. Once you have selected a printer located on a remote node, the queue name is automatically translated to its resolved name, the actual name of the printer queue as it appears on the remote node. For example, a share name "113HP4" will be resolved as "\\spmarkup\HP LaserJet 4 Plus".
