  1. Click SmartPlant > UI SmartPlant API > Retrieve.

  2. Select a PBS node in the tree view to filter documents by PBS node. This step is optional.

  3. Select an option from the Document type drop-down menu. The default option is All.

  4. Select further filtering options in the Show area of the dialog box.

    1. Select New documents to only display documents that have not been retrieved previously.

    2. Select New version of retrieved documents to only display documents that are a new version of a previously retrieved document.

    3. Select Unchanged documents to display documents that have not been modified since the last retrieval process.

    4. Select Documents of all owning groups to display all documents.

  5. Select one or more documents to retrieve from the document list.

    • You can sort the documents in the list by clicking a column header.

    • You can select a retrieve option for the document in the Retrieve Option column. The available options are As published, Latest data, and CDW data (CDW must be enabled in SmartPlant Foundation for this option to be available).

    • You can select the Batch Retrieve option to retrieve more than one document.

  6. Click OK. A progress dialog box displays to show the retrieve process details.

  7. A message box displays after the retrieve process is complete. Click OK to close the message box, or click View Log to review any errors that occurred during the retrieve process.

Retrieved files are placed in the temporary directory under the SPTestToolRetrievedFiles\<Registered site plant name> folder.
