After upgrading to SmartPlant Instrumentation 2016, when using the compare functionality to compare between a pre-upgrade and post upgrade drawing, the compare could indicate that changes have occurred, when in fact no changes have taken place. This is due to the remodeling of SmartPlant Instrumentation 2016 data dictionary including the replacing of attributes and attribute values (IDs) with other new attributes and attribute values (IDs). The software reads the changed IDs as a change to the drawing though in fact there are no changes to what you view on the drawing.
No loss or corruption of data occurs and the drawing and any macros look and function
as before.
