Before installing any of the SmartPlant Instrumentation additional software you must
have administrative privileges (read/write) for the machine you are installing the
software on.
Hardware Recommendations
Hardware recommendations are the same as those recommended for SmartPlant Instrumentation. For more information, see the Hardware and Software Recommendations section of this guide.
Make sure that your machine has enough disk space to install the additional software.
The amount of space required varies according to the software you are installing.
During the installation process, on the Details and Features page, the amount of space available and required is displayed just below the installation
path.
Previous Versions
Any previous versions of the software that you want to install, must be deleted from your machine before beginning the installation of the new software.
