There are various post-upgrade tasks you need to complete to be able to work with SmartPlant Instrumentation. Some tasks are general tasks you must perform regardless of the data your database contains or features of SmartPlant Instrumentation that you used before the upgrade. For example, you must perform a thorough database check after upgrading. Other tasks are related to specific options of the software. You do not have to complete a task if it deals with features you never used before upgrading.
