List of Optional Items that can be installed with SmartPlant Instrumentation
The following is a list of the options available for installing as they appear in the Details and Features page >Select Features to Install during the software installation.

Admin Tools |
These tools are required by the system or domain administrator to perform various administrative tasks. |

Import Tool |
Used to import data from most common database formats into a selected table or module in the SmartPlant Instrumentation database. |

Merger Tool |
Used to transfer a selected plant hierarchy from a source domain to the same type of plant hierarchy in an existing target domain. |

Admin Tool |
A set of administrative tools for keeping track of your resources and maintaining user access security. |
||
|
Rule Manager |
Used to create, manipulate, and manage sets of consistency rules that apply whenever you associate two items or modify properties of a certain item in SmartPlant Instrumentation. |

Documentation |
The help documentation containing explanations and procedures on how to work with the software. |
Two types of file are supplied, .chm files that are available from within the software by clicking a Help button or pressing F1, and .PDF files for printing. The .PDF files are available from the Help > Printable Guides menu |

A database populated with certain items and values such as loops, instruments, and so forth. Used with the SmartPlant Instrumentation Tutorial. |

A database containing the mapping of SmartPlant Instrumentation, for use when working in an integrated environment. |

In_kks.db |
A database containing the KKS naming convention and rules, for use in the KKS environment. |
||

Intools |
An empty database. |

Style PBD |
Contains the style elements used when creating .psr files. |
||
|
Libraries |
Specific templates or symbols supplied with SmartPlant Instrumentation for use with specific modules. |

Cad Block Library |
A set of CAD block symbols for use with external CAD programs such as SmartSketch, AutoCAD, or Microstation. |

|
Hook-Up Library |
A set of Hook-Up symbols for use when creating Hook-Ups in SmartPlant Instrumentation. |

|
Specification Library |
A set of Specification form templates. |

These example databases are not overwritten when installing a service pack or restoring
SmartPlant Instrumentation.
