  1. Invoke the operating system Command Prompt on the source file server as System Administrator.

  2. At the prompt, type:

    Expdp SYSTEM/ORACLE@<Oracle instance alias> FULL=Y directory=DATA PUMP DIR dumpfile<exportfile> logfile=<log file full filepath >

  3. Press Enter.

SHARED Tip Once the export is complete, you can check the log file for details.

This completes the export task. You can now copy the new dump file to another computer if needed.
