The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 33 and SmartPlant Markup Plus Server 2019 SP 1 or earlier. For the latest information, see File viewing problems.
Check the Brava! Enterprise log file:

Log on to the SmartPlant Markup Plus server as an administrator.

Open the brava-enterprise-service.txt file delivered to the [installation location]\IGC\Brava! Enterprise\Brava! Server\log folder.
If the following error appears in the file, Apache Tomcat cannot locate Java Runtime Environment, or you are using the 32-bit Java Runtime Environment:
Java Null exception error: java.lang.NullPointerException: null
Check your Java options for Apache Tomcat:

Log on to the SmartPlant Markup Plus server as an administrator.

Click Start > Apache Tomcat [version] > Configure Tomcat.

Select the Java tab.
-
Make sure the path to Java Runtime Environment is correct.
Replace the 32-bit Java Runtime Environment with the 64-bit Java Runtime Environment:

Log on to the SmartPlant Markup Plus server as an administrator.

Uninstall these programs in the following order:

32-bit Java Runtime Environment
-
Apache Tomcat
-
SmartPlant Markup Plus Server
-

Restart the server.

Install these programs in the following order:

64-bit Java Runtime Environment
-
Apache Tomcat
-
SmartPlant Markup Plus Server

-
Restart the server.
